I think you can make about any two wire regulating valve work with rate controller.


I'm quite certain the regulating valve would need to have "limit" switches in it. The really cheap butterfly regulating valves that can continue to go around and around do not work with automatic controllers.

For example, in the Raven lineup most of their regulating valves would have limit switches and be suitable but their entry level regulating valve for a manual electric system would not.
