SMS keeps the original raw data files stored in the background. (Tools>File Viewer will show them to you)
It does have some default settings that can filter data such as yield and other forms. This would get rid of the 5 miles of 0's someone left while driving their combine down the road with it still recording. You can turn those settings off though or just reprocess the data within the tree to get the "true" data back.
