We have been using the same 5db antenna from Tessco for 3 years. When the Trimble spec'd antenna breaks( and it will) we just replace with "chrome" antenna. Customers have even learned to ask parts dept for the "chrome " antenna. Over 100 replacements out in our 4 store area, and have had no failures.
