Subject: JD 1990 CCS and Fendt virtual terminal

Dalton, OH

Purchased a new JD 1990 CCS drill this winter.  I want to be able to plug it in to my Fendt tractor to read out the monitoring info on the Fendt screen.  The drill is supposed to be ISOBUS compliant and I know the Fendt 824 I am using is as we use it in another ISOBUS application.  I tried plugging the drill into my JD 6125R and everything reads out on the GS3 command center fine, but when I plug it into the Fendt 824, the screen initially recognizes the implement as a John Deere seeder/planter while loading the software, but then gives me an "Error in operating Mask" and won't load.  Any ideas or has anybody experienced this?

I did some looking on the internet and on AgTalk and have found where the Ag Leader Integra and an Outback virtual Terminal will work so it has been done.  The problem that I'm having is that my Fendt serviceman wants to blame Deere right away and Deere wants to blame Fendt and nobody wants to try and find a resolution.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!!

Thanks,
