If you have 2 actual seperate fields, the best thing to do is get each of them completely enclosed by a boundary.
Easiest way is to right click on the operation in the tree that has good data, and select trace boundary.
Then Freeze the boundary for each field.

After you have frozen boundaries created...you will know, if the preview window below the tree shows your field in green, with a black outline. This black outline is key to many things in the SMS world.

When you have a boundaty on both your fields, right click the dataset that is incorrect, and sort loads into fields... that should do it.


If you want to delete data, simply open a points layer, in the layer editor, select the points you want to delete, then delete.
