You can fly UAV over your own stuff right now by following model airplane rules. Have to stay under 400' and within line of sight. Found out recently need to more than 3 miles from an airport unless you've called the tower for approval.

You just can't get paid to provide any service with one right now, although some real estate agents are fighting that now or finding ways around it.
