Wardview, LA | While discing yesterday with my JD 4640, the hitch would not raise at the end of the day. I noticed the lever was in the full up position but the hitch was lowered will running. I checked the function of the lever and it is operating correctly (all shafts rotating accordingly). The cylinder was rebuilt in the fall with the hydraulic line replaced to the cylinder. I noticed that the seat would lower/raise every once in a while. The tractor seemed to run fine shift out good and raise the disc without problem.

So what should I check? What kind of job are we looking at? special tools? I lack about 20 acres of initial discing and 105 final discing this week. | |
