i have tried it with the service switch on and off and it doesn't turn over and i cant hear any clicking but can hear the glow plugs running, while i turn the key the lights on the dash to not dim or go blank. seems to have good power?
If your skid loader doesn't start with the switch in the "service" position, your problem is in the general starting system and not with the interlock safety system (seat switch, seat belt) Start relay, starter/starter solenoid (my guess), cables, battery, ect.
Just for refrence....the interlock system is pretty easy to diagnose.
1, If you sit in the seat and the dash lights up.....the seat switch is working. (without touching the key)
2, If you buckle the seat belt and the seatbelt light on the dash goes out, the seat belt switch is working.
Most common problems on interlock problems are: Seat belt latch, seat wire harness (especially on machines with suspension seats), fuse, seat switches, interlock relay, and instrument panel. |
