Wi | coyotehunter - 1/26/2014 16:52 the harness that goes under the seat has a rubber plug, can i cut the side after the plug and somehow make a relay that would cancel out the seat belt and the seat safety switch?
If it is not starting in service position you can forget about the seat belt switch. Service position bypasses the safety interlock.
Don't bypass the seat belt switch, theres no need to and until you are saved by the seat belt maybe you wont appreciate it as much. I fell out of one when on of our larger operators got tired of trying to get the belt around himself so he just vise gripped it, I wasn't very old are big at that time and it caught me but after my head knocked the boom already.
hayward - 1/26/2014 16:22 On my lx485, it would only start on service. Replaced the seat belt switch and all is good.
I was backwards in my post, meant if it starts in Service it is probably the switch. If it still doesnt its something else. |
