Any livestock boys go belly up yet?
Seems the barns and lots are still going up. Land is being bought by some smelly livestock money. Can't imagine how rich they would have been if corn was still at 2 bucks.
Ontario lost 35% of producers, our county lost 65%.......in Ontario a lot of hog farms where purchased by Dairy and feather farmers who have supply management......for guys that think it was ever easy making a buck raising any livestock you should try it.......most livestock guys are ones that could not buy or rent enough land too cash crop |
