Too close to Raleigh, NC | Back in 98 I got a chance to watch a waterspout off the Navy Pier in Chicago from the 17th Floor of the IBM Tower. The IBM building sits at the far side of the curve in the river so there is an unobstructed view down the river past the pier to the lake. Even the 20 year veterans of that building were impressed with the sight.
I briefly had use of a corner office there while we were shutting down the operation - best office I ever expect to have other than the cab of combine. | |
