Subject: RE: Farm Accounting software

West Tennessee
I use Quickbooks and setup classes for each farm and each piece of equipment. I don't try and track everything by farm or equipment. Just the things I want to track that way. For example major repairs are put to a certain piece of equipment. 75% combine :-( Crop sales are divided out by farm. I put the bushels on each memo in the deposit and pull my insurance reports from that instead of going back through tickets. If I want to do any detailed analysis I export to Excel and do that work from there. That's how I do my crop budgets annually. Works for me.
