Subject: RE: 20 Series Tractors had a pigtail under the fuse cover

I am not sure if there is a radar output on a GS2, I've never hooked one up.

I was also told the ILS fronts were "short" back in January. They had plenty of them on the floor for the tractors being built. Our tour was supposed to be the 15th, then the 21st, they called our dealer on the 17th and said be there by 7:30 am on the 18th. I think that the "date" is an estimate. Deere is booked on new 8000's if one were to order one today until November, which would constitute their 2009 year models. Tour guide and a couple workers said the Ukraine (former Soviet Union) ordered 1200 tractors. 50-54 new 8000 series tractors built per day currently running 6 days / week. One off the line every 26 minutes. You can bring 4 people including yourself. Can bring a camera, no video. I would request a man by the name of Paul Bixby as a tour guide, you won't be disappointed! No kids under 12 years old.

Pretty neat tour, your paying for it, I'd recommend going. We were in the workers way all morning, not once did I get the feeling we were bothering them. They love to B.S. and take pride in the jobs they are doing. Very positive attitudes, very clean, very neat appearances.

I recommend staying at "The Isle Casino and Hotel". Extremely nice place for $69 bucks / night. Ranks right up there with Vegas rooms. Good food, and table games also. Not that far from the factory. 10 miles or so.

Take time and go through engine works in the afternoon BEFORE the tractor is to be built (starts at 1 pm). Then do the gold key the next day. You can't make the 1 pm engine works following the gold key tour.
Good Luck!
