SWOH | Ag Leader sent me a free trial for SMS and I've been going through it a little and it seems like a pain in the butt to use. Is it really that bad or is most other software this confusing? I want something mostly for mapping......soil type, yield maps, spray coverage, and also for just basic field records. Is there anything out there a little more simple to use? Eventually we would like to be able to do variable rate, too, but right now I just want to get a good basic idea of how to use some sort of mapping software. All of our stuff is Ag Leader, Deere, and Precision Planting. I finally convinced dad (after several years) that this stuff really does work. But I'm behind on what's available as far as software. I've looked at several different products but I can't really tell what they actually do and how they work. I was really interested in SMS and Farmworks, but now I'm not too sure about SMS. Any help would be appreciated. | |
