Those look really slick. Their is another model that is alum. has 10" drawers instead of one big drawer. It's only 6" or so deep but otherwise same size is about same price. I'm not sure how they would hold up putting pallet on top but should be good for toolbox and compressor.

I've always struggled with what to do for tools, parts, and materials in truck. In a way i want tool box at the rear to easy to get to but that makes hauling seed a challenge. I really like the looks of a JD road box, the draw type not the montuzuma box. But it pretty much requires taking up rear of truck. Their is nothing perfect, my picture above looks messy and un organized but it really isn't. I've though about box like you listed along with our rear wheel well boxes. Bottom for bigger stuff like grease guns, larger tools, parts, and still use top for seed, chemicals. 1,100-1,200 it isn't going to happen any time soon.
