SE IL | If you just want to get your feet wet, you can grid your fields in SMS basic, print those maps with a background image, then manually drive out to the spot and take your sample. You have all the equipment to do that.
To make the actual prescription, you can use a spreadsheet created by Jeff Helgen input your test results, and the spreadsheet will give you the prescription. Import that data back into SMS and you have a cheap respectable grid sampled map, that the coop, or you yourself can use.
That is not the slickest, way to do it, but many people after a couple of cycles of grid sampling move on to more complex managment zones, so the cheap method gets your feet wet.
SMS mobile is $500, then you need a windows 8 pro tablet, and a bluetooth gps, and you would be ready to go, That would get the sampling part.
You need SMS advanced to automatically create the prescriptions, whish is another $1250 I think if you already have basic.
