Subject: Re: Building a skid for field work...

Southern Illinois
I built a skid for my service truck with a 30 gal compressor, 100gal of fuel, miller bobcat welder, motezuma toolbox and torch tanks with reels for everything. It fits on my flat bed but is compact enough that I can still pull a gooseneck trailer. I used the aux switches in the cab to run the diesel tank and the electric start on the compressor. The best thing I like about it is I can have it on or off the truck in about two minutes. I just set it down in the stake pockets and plug up the plugs to the back of the truck. I don't strap it or anything. If I can remember I will try to get some pics of it if you like.
