Most people really do not want to know if bad things are going to happen. They might give lip service to wanting to know, but most would rather be blindsided within a crowd rather than be outside the crowd. Humans are herd animals for the most part. As much as we like to think we are individuals, it only takes a look around to see that few of us really want to be THAT different. There is comfort in numbers. People really do look for a leader. Like Hitler, or Obama or Billy Graham or any other charismatic person that tells them what they want to hear to comfort them, that everything is going to be ok. People look for leadership. But they often vote with their hearts instead of their heads. Humans are a strange lot. My opinion. This thread has probably devolved into Boiler Room territory rather than marketing. John |
