exactly Mark. that's what I've been trying to say for a while.

Look at it right now - the bid on culls is up to almost a buck. A dollar for culls in January!!

Packers are screaming at guys trying to get them to sell their cows so they don't have to pay for these fats. but folks arn't in the forced sale position this year because there is more feed... they see the calf prices and the guys that are left, and actually committed, know better. So the packers have to buy the fats. and wolla - you get a parabolic move on fats in the last 2 weeks. The beef has to come from somewhere.
