I have a new to me 2007 635F flex head. It did a great job in soybeans. My question is I've seen videos showing longer control arms for running the contour master in wheat. It looks like it is designed to keep the header off the ground at a consistent height.
Is this a kit I can install? Where can I find it? Website, etc.? Has anyone added this kit and how did it work?
I'm assuming that I can't use the normal flex head settings(?). How would it stay 4-6" off the ground? Reduced flex pressure?
TIA, SilverDollar
Just lock your head up, and go cut the wheat. You don't need header height control. I've
cut thousands of acres of wheat with a 630F, with just a gauge from feeder house to the
windshield. Cuts 6-8" all day long. |
