I think you can variety track with the Insight right? I think its an unlock. Could be way off here but I'm pretty sure you can.
Yes, you can variety track with any Insight. The multi-product unlock is needed for split planter and/or if other operations such as fertilizer or spray are done with the planter.
The variety map will stay with THAT Insight. If THAT Insight is used in the combine the onscreen variety map will be available. I've done this for years.
If the planting was done with an Insight, the variety map can be processed via SMS and temporarily imported into an Integra in the combine. Given the situation of the original post, I don't think an Insight would be a good plan.
