I've used another way. Both parties write on a piece of paper what they would bid for it. The highest bidder gets to buy it ---- for the lowest bid. Keeps the winning bidder from overpaying and the other guy from low balling the deal because he really doesn't want it.
Interesting twist to the deal. I'm going to remember that one.
