NW iowa | Trimble FMX and PF3000 record data in 2 completely different ways. PF3000 is a point shape file which means it records a dot every second and use computer software to make it look good. Trimble records in polygons and it looks like a rectangle because it makes an outline of your distance covered and swath width and fills in the data. You can "combine" the two together to get a map. The trouble you will have is when you export data out of those polygons to shape files, which is what most of the industry standard is. It dilutes the data down pretty bad. I have SMS | |
