western iowa | Sorry for the delay 560. I have several questions so I'm going to apologize in advance.
A mobile base in the field looks to me like the only way to go. How do you power yours and how long does the charge last?
What spacing and depth are you using with the four and five inch tile?
Are you tiling through soybeans in the summer? What do you like/dislike about it? I can see how summer would be a lot more fun.
How does your 8640 handle the plow? Seems like in heavy soils that would be a hell of a load. Are you pre-ripping or hooking on another tractor?
I had a guy tell me once he thought it was much better to pre-rip where there are rocks. Hit the rock with no tile in the plow, dig it up, continue on. He thought pre-ripping was way more fun than hooking a second tractor on. I think I would do almost anything to avoid the second tractor.
