yeah but the profit is the same. You can grow 1,000 acres of corn in the time it takes you to plant, manage and intensively graze 100 acres of pasture, then the corn farmer can go to florida over winter while the cow guy hauls manure and chops ice. And with insurance and all the other gifts from the good uncle, the corn guy still makes more money.
