anyway.

Wonder if some corn acres would be more profitable put into an intensive grazing crop. say japaneses millet, hygary, sudex etc.

kind of a diversity thing.

run some cows on that in the summer, graze residue in the fall winter.

calves are in the $1,000 range now and reaching towards $1,500 each for fall 2014.

can graze 2 to 3 pairs per acre ( managed right ).
that's alot more gross revenue $$$$ than an acre of corn is worth ( even at $8 per bu )

kind of a diversity thing.
