| Everyone has to make a living and how to cover cost on support either has to come out of intitial sale or ongoing charging. That said this needs to be clear and transparent at the point of sale to allow relative choices to be made. Given this situation has evolved over time, this has not necessarily been the case leaving historic buyers and sellers disgruntled. Going forward self help has to be promoted as does availability of information from manufacturer level to allow users to do this. This equipment is not cheap and quantifying a payback is a grey area. One thing is for sure, when it is not working the payback is zero. | |
