Wisconsin | We use it for planting and hilling potatoes, planting and cultivating sweet corn and field corn. Also planting soybeans. We've switched back and fourth between two tractors for 5 years now and it has worked, but it is kind of a pain and there are times where planting corn and hilling potatoes overlap so another system would be best. We plan on upgrading our combine soon to a 60 series so I thought if we had a Deere system it would be plug and play to steer and I also want to yield map. I just hate the idea of spending $1500 every time we upgrade a tractor for the harness and then have to cut up the pillar to feed the wires through. Another thing is I personally feel our Deere dealer has a little more man power than the dealer we get the Trimble from when it comes to service on the gps side of things.
