Subject: RE: Realistic upside?

I mentioned last week that I had been reading through NAT posts starting 4 years ago and throughout that marketing year- all I can say is that this has an eerily similar feeling- that was the last time we started out with a carryover number up near 2BB and kept ratcheting away at that number with demand.  Yes, there are some differences, a large one being that 2013 corn has much better quality and feed value than 2009 corn.  But....we put the fireworks in the 2010 corn market while still growing the 4th LARGEST crop in history and being immediately on the heels of an implosion in the economy as a whole.  5, 6, 7?  I hate to put a number out there, but anybody who thinks $5 is a far leap from here doesn't have much historical perspective or else has an agenda.
