Here's a screenshot I took of a field I ran the analysis on tonight. Normalized yield on the left, CV on the right from the same analysis. 4 years of data, 3 corn and one soybean. Area I outlined in black is high yielding, and consistently doing so. (low CV)

The area in white is relatively low yielding, but very inconsistent. (high CV) Going back and looking at the individual maps, it makes sense. That area has a decent year but some pretty poor ones.
