Sac & Story county IA | I don't have natural gas at my farm but at our other house, gas is about 85 cents per therm. My 25,000 btu electric heater costs 50 some cents per hour on the cheapest rate. Probably about 90 cents regular rate. So double or more for electric. Propane is 91,000 btu per gallon. So, at near $2, way closer to electric. My room takes 20 some K btu, hardly big enough to consider gas. | |
