Minnesota | Keep in mind that if you start selling the Precision stuff, your are probably going to be responsible for service if you want repeat customers. There have been many of my days where I should have been in the fields at the home farm (part time), while I was filling responsibilities of my full time job. Have to remember that your busy spring is everyone else's go time also. I am thinking about moving more into the data processing and making prescription recommendations for guys, would require one more year of school for me to get my Bachelor in Agronomy, but at least at that point the workload shifts to pre-plant, and gives you more time for the farm when everything's a go during planting. | |
