| 1600 is basically the new 1500. GPS 1500 went out of life, so Ag Leader now supports and sells the GPS 1600, pretty much a beefy version of the 1500. They are both the same at using WAAS. If you are only interested in using WAAS as a correction source and do not foresee using anything more accurate like OmniSTAR or RTK, then you would be better off with the GPS 1600 only since it is a WAAS only receiver and saves on costs of the bigger 2500 | |
