I think New Leader uses Dicky John sensors. I use a special Rawson Gear box with a hall effect sensor. It counts the 67 teeth on the gear. I sell these gear boxes and sensors.

Also you can use an Eaton Motor with built in speed sensor. Or many other brands too.
