| We're looking at adopting a yearly phone support package fee as well as a service call fee. Min $60 charge for onsite visits, 60/hr for time spent on site fixing issues.
It's a weird industry. Most dealerships are always hiring to expand their workforce or to replace losses from burnout. Yet they don't pay enough to entice good people from other fields/industries.
As a PF specialist myself, I'm always extremely interested in what other companies are doing to actually make money at the GPS game, as well as customer expectations for support and billing. My company's current goal is to not lose money with GPS specialists. It's felt there is enough spinoff with wholegood sales that as long as we can cover our own expenses we don't need to directly generate profit ourselves. But if we can that would be awesome too. | |
