These units can never freeze as they self drain after the motion sensor shuts off. No heating required.

Beyond that, the next best is Canarm (used to be Henn-Rich) in Canada. Freezes occasionally, but not as often as my Ritchie 3E.

Over the next few years, everything will be ripped out and replaced with a Kelln unit. Save some major bucks in heating.
