Check Connections on the ISO harness also. On a 550 Quad I had similar issue, where the JD modules would show up momentary when you turned the key on then disappear, and would get a similar deletion warning. My issue was a bulkhead connector going into the bottom of the cab not fully seated causing a poor connection. Spun that connector tight and everything populated and started talking.
