southwest IA | Thanks guys for you input. After visiting with a local expert I found an easy SMS setting tweak that I was unaware of. Using "Edit Layer options" above the map legend there is a place to edit Layer Attributes for the map. On the "Drawing" tab the "point size" was at 30 ft. After changing it to 80 ft (the applicators actual spread width) the map displayed correctly.
