For us, topdressing 100-150lbs AMS did wonders toward a uniform-looking stand of corn across the field. If your soil variability is like I suspect, you can't really VR any kind of inputs fast and accurately enough to do any good. You need a management programs that works across the whole field, even if it isn't exactly perfect at any one point.
For now, I'd broadcast AMS and KMAG, take tissue tests to evaluate your micros, and work on getting your strip-till bander set up for next year. When you get started with that, have Levi blend in ~50lbs of the micropak blend in with your P and K for the band and keep topdressing AMS. I think you'll have some beautiful corn fields.
