I assume you will leave planter units on the tool bar for other crops. Lie to it. Set it as a 10 row. Unplug the clutches going to the rows skipped. Never done this but I do not see why it wouldn't work. you just set up a different implement in you setup for the cotton planting.


If you unplug the clutches to the rows that are to be skipped those rows will always be engaged. To prevent planting on the skipped rows they would need constant power/ground. Otherwise mechanically disconnect some portion of the drive.
