The ability to ignore rows is not a feature I've used all that often, nor is the skip row setup you are running something I've ever ever heard of, so I can't say I've done this before, or that I know down to that level of detail how it will work. I would guess you will see one of two things. Once set to "ignored" they will either stay ignored until set back, or they might default back to standard operation when the display is power cycled. If they don't stay "ignored", another option would be to "remove" them from the configuration. However, using this option will required some sensor plugging/unplugging when it comes time to add them back into the system, otherwise when added back in, sensors could get programmed to the wrong row positions.

Also, worth noting, I don't know what the population count will do with the ignored rows. It is possible it will indicate 2/3 of the actual population. Off the top of my head, I don't know a workaround for that.
