South central MN | What monitor does your planter currently have? I would recommend a FMX/FM 1000 or a FM 750 with EZ-pilot. The ez pilot system has been working very well. The 1000 or 750 have accuracy upgrades that make them good to plant with. If all you want to do is steer with it I would go 750. If you ever want to control application like fertilizer or maybe run a sprayer I would go with a 1000. The 750 can do those things as well but most people are happier with a 1000 when doing them. The Omnistar unlock is $2000 dollars for either display and will let you run omni xp (3-5" pass to pass) or hp (2-4" pass to pass). It will also let you run center point RTX which is 1.5" repeatable and become very popular in my area. | |
