ne north dakota | They came in our area a year ago. They will fill you full of bs, they told us 3 per quarter if they put them corner to corner. I said no, straight lines only ended up with 2 per quarter. We get paid 2600 dollars per megawatt. All said our first payment was about 7600 per tower. that is with all the land lost for roads and underground collection systems. fpl good enough to work with but watch them. Some absent landowners let them put them wherever they wanted made a mess out of some good land. we try to farm in mile rounds and imagine a string of towers put anywhere they wanted, not pretty!! good luck townships will get about 300 taxes per turbine | |
