Missouri | I don't have one with me to measure, but I can answer some of the other questions.
The sprockets teeth are sized for #41 chain. I don't know exactly how far apart they are, but I would say around 12mm to 14mm. They are as close as you can get the chains without risk of the connecting links rubbing as they move across the sprocket.
It is not possible to change the sprockets. Each sprocket also contains part of the clutch workings. They are not separate pieces that have been assembled together, they are each one whole piece of machined steel.
The clutch will only work in that one orientation. The drive sprocket must remain the drive sprocket, and the driven sprocket must remain the driven sprocket. The drive direction must not be reversed. The clutch mechanism is a wrap spring type of design, and there is no way to make it grab in reverse. | |
