Floyd County, Iowa | During fieldwork this past fall, my EZ Guide 250 and EZ Steer worked fine, except when crossing waterways. When I drove through a waterway (at an angle), the EZ Steer would start sawing the steering wheel back and forth, disengaging when I grabbed the wheel. This was not just a little turn- went nearly from stop to stop on the front axle. I just started disengaging when I got to the waterways and re-engaging as soon as the tractor was through the waterway and back on more level ground. Worked fine that way.
Chisel speed was about 6mph, and I slowed down to about 3mph crossing the waterways, which are about 20 feet wide and about 1 foot deep in the centers.
Normal? Or T2 trouble? Was roll cal'd and measurements re-checked just before fieldwork started.
