South central MN | The only Trimble display that will run wm drain or feild level II is the fmx/fm1000 at this point. The new disay (2050) will be able to but no time table on that. I have never used laser so I can not help there. We have a fair amount of customers that switched from laser to GPS and they all seem to like it. To use GPS you would need to add a control valve on the scraper. If you already had a steering system in the tractor you could use that for steering while using the scrapper. That would save unlocking the second receiver in the fm1000. You could also manually steer the tractor while running it if you wanted. | |
