Gilby,ND | almost same situation a few years ago, started out with a laser, by the end of the fall i traded up and since we had JD GPS i made the jump and upgraded and went to GPS ditching with AGPS Ditch Pro, you would not believe the difference in speed it makes and you move so much less dirt, it will step you down not just a to b like laser, and if people complain you have a map to show that you are not changing elevations just taking out high spots, it was a very expensive jump but in the long run well worth it and now i have RTK for the rest of my operations, once you go to RTK there is no going back in my opinion. | |
