Subject: laser or gps for scraper

I have a Case IH 9250 tractor and a converted cat 60 scraper. Just got scraper late this summer and have done some playing around. It became obvious that this combination would be very useful to fix a lot of wet spots in fields by fixing ditches and leveling off old fencelines with some guidance.

What is the best way to go (gps/laser) and price differences for auto control vs. manual control. I'm assuming that there would need to be a remote mount valve for any auto control with this tractor.

I have a couple fm750's and a ezguide 500 but I don't think they can be used for this application??

Thanks,
