How does an economy with no inflation/deflation function?

1 would imagine that currency can be based off literally anything under the sun.

just depends on what folks want.

precious metals are an antiquated currency. mo ( history tells that )

in the usa, currency is not the issue as I see things.
the socialist and tax system ( or lack thereof as the 73,000 page tax code explains for Most entities ) will eventually become thee issue.

just no way the permanent part time wage scale so common in the usa can pay enough tax to balance the govt over spending.

Many of the business / industry segments in the usa actually receive more dough in direct and indirect subsidies annually than they pay in taxes.

The main asset of any country is it's People ( and all the things those folks do..or not ).
Once those people are no longer interested in things their govt does or does not do, they simply fail to "show up."
( usa has been in the afore boat for bout a decade now )
