NE CO | You are probably thinking about RTK Extend or RTK-X, which allows you to keep RTK accuracy if you loose connection to the base station for a brief period of time. It was last two minutes if the receiver has been on and connected to the base station less than an hour and 15 minutes if on more than an hour.
SF2 fallback on requires you to connect to a base station or get an RTK signal for a brief period, then once you go outside the limits of the base station and loose RTK signal SF2 Fallback will engage and stay active for 14 days, even after the receiver is powered down. So after the 14 days when you loose the fallback, just travel back into range of the base station and gain RTK signal and the 14 days will reset. You can use then SF2 accuracy for another 14 days and this can be done as many times as you want as long as you have an RTK base station to connect to. Like I said before, being RTK ready and having a subscription gets you SF2 for free as well. | |
